Yes to majority voting
Introduction of qualified majority voting so as to get away from the logic of vetoes. Direct election of a single premier/president of the Union to replace the current presidents of the Commission and the European Council. Strengthening of Parliament's legislative power.
Economic Governance

Common debt against crises
To tackle crises Fi proposes the pooling of debt as was done at Covid. Also development of the single market and banking union together with a harmonisation of fiscal policy - starting with tax rates - to help reduce the disparity between member states
Common Defence

Commissioner for Defence
Appoint Commissioner for Defence. Full support for Ukraine but no sending of troops or use of weapons outside the borders. Strengthening of the EU-NATO agreement. Strengthening of the defence industry and joint programmes, cooperation armed forces and increase of European emissions.

Amendment of the Green Homes Directive
Forza Italia wants to change the Green Deal discipline that negatively impacts key sectors such as automotive and steel and will propose the amendment of the Green Homes Directive. On energy it promotes investment in renewables and a return to clean nuclear power.
