1) Political governance
No to treaty change
Fdi is against changing the treaties to strengthen the Commission and thus remove the right of veto. Fdi's idea of Europe is that of an 'alliance of sovereign nations', united on the big issues (defence, foreign policy, immigration) and free on the rest.
2) Economic governance
.Revise the Pact
The new Stability Pact must be modified because it has not made sufficient progress on the decoupling of investments for green and digital transition and in defence. For this reason, it is anticipated in the programme that a revision will be requested 'in the sense of greater flexibility'.
3) Common Defence
.Strengthen defence industry
We need a more authoritative EU in crisis scenarios, for a just peace in Ukraine and for the 'two peoples, two states' solution in the Middle East. Build a common defence industrial policy and consolidate a technologically advanced industry that is autonomous but integrated with NATO
4) Industrial Policy
Introduction of 'social tariffs'
Introduction of 'social tariffs' against countries that do not meet EU standards. Increase in mining activity. Investment support for the competitiveness of industry. No to the green ideological drift. Lifting the ban on the production of cars with endothermic engines from 2035.
5) Work
.Help those who hire
Limiting the bureaucratic burden of EU regulations, especially for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. Equalising companies and professionals in the allocation of incentives and support. Incentivise young entrepreneurs and companies that hire also through tax discounts.
