The Light of Arabia from the Dream of the Desert

Dream of the Desert', the first 'Made in Italy' ultra-luxury train, will travel to Saudi Arabia from the end of 2026. (pre-reservation at www.dreamofthedesert.com). Along a route of 1,300 kilometres it will travel 'the unbeaten path' from Riyadh towards the north of the country This is Arsenale's first international project, in addition to the partnerships launched in Uzbekistan, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates and the acquisition of Golden Eagle. There are five thematic itineraries available for guests to discover the Kingdom's landscapes, culture and traditions through onboard experiences and exclusive stops. They range from 'The Northern Sands': a three-day journey from Riyadh to Al Jouf among the ancient fortresses of Marid Castle, the rock carvings of Jubbah Rocks and an immersive experience in the desert under the stars to 'A Taste of AlUla': from Riyadh to AlUla, a journey that combines modern Arabia with its timeless heritage. An itinerary that touches on the forts of Al Jouf, the rock carvings of Jubbah and includes an exclusive desert camp under the stars. The route culminates in AlUla, with tailor-made experiences curated by 'Dream of the Desert', in collaboration with AlUla Destination. And again, 'Whispers of Jubbah', a two-day tour dedicated to the discovery of the prehistoric engravings of Jubbah and a visit to Diriyah, the cradle of the Kingdom and symbol of its cultural heritage, while with 'Ramadan Nights', an exclusive experience during the holy month of Ramadan, where iftar and suhoor become moments of refined conviviality and spirituality, celebrated on board a train in the heart of the desert, accompanied by a stargazing experience after iftar. Finally, 'Summer Mirage' is a two-day summer journey to and from Riyadh, designed to experience the charm of the desert in the summer season, with thematic events, gourmet cuisine and absolute comfort on board.
