Almost at the same time as the final approval of the law on the new higher technology chain, the other great innovation in higher education also takes another step forward. We are talking about the 'Made in Italy' high school.

After the Cdm's preliminary go-ahead for the regulation with the new timetable framework of a course of study, which - it is worth remembering - can be launched by high schools that currently have the economic-social option active and which will be launched on an experimental basis in a hundred or so schools in September, the birth of the 'Enterprises and skills for Italian manufacturing' foundation, governed by an inter-ministerial decree Mimit-Mim-Mef, should also be noted.

Tasks

.

The new body will have to promote the connection between companies that represent the excellence of Italian-made products, including those that own historical brands, and the new 'Made in Italy' high schools; disseminate business culture among students; award the 'Master of Made in Italy' prize each year to entrepreneurs who have distinguished themselves in their fields; and take care of and manage the permanent exhibition of Italian-made products. And, to do so, it will be able to carry out banking transactions or apply for subsidies, contributions; enter into contracts and agreements with private individuals, public bodies and Italian and foreign universities, but also receive donations or set up start-ups or consortium companies.

The resources available

.

The aforementioned foundation was established with assets of one million euros that are unavailable and bound to the pursuit of its statutory purposes, and a 500,000-euro management fund for operating expenses. In addition to the 'founding' members represented by the two competent ministries (Mimit and Mim), which will have to deal with the statute, other 'participating' members identified among public and private entities that commit to being part of the foundation for at least three years may be added along the way. Not forgetting any 'supporters' who wish to contribute services in kind, consisting of services or professional activities of particular importance.

Chairman and Board of Directors

.

Moving on to the social organs, the foundation will have a president chosen by the Ministry of Made in Italy, a board of directors with three members and a technical committee with between three and 15 members.
