How the Statista-Il Sole 24 Ore Consultants of the Year list was created

The Consulenti dell'anno list is based on the recommendations of consultants and clients of consulting companies in Italy for 12 functional sectors (from IT to sustainability, from finance to strategy) and 14 industries, and includes the most quoted companies. 4,500 consultants active in Italy were invited to participate in the survey. Consultancy firms could also apply independently and solicit recommendations from clients. The survey was promoted online by Il Sole 24 Ore, giving consultants and verified clients the opportunity to register on the site and participate in the research, free of charge. Self-assessments of companies were not taken into account. Statista collected more than 5,500 recommendations that passed the regularity and quality checks. The companies with the largest number of recommendations were listed in alphabetical order. The list makes no claim to completeness and is intended to analyse trends and reasons for success.
