Regional primacy for green houses

Valle d'Aosta is the first region in Italy for green homes, thanks to a score of 8.4 out of 10: it is first for the high number of Ape energy performance certificates (22.1%) - higher than the Italian average of 14.3% certificates - and for the average renewable energy consumption index (40.8 kWh/m2 per year). The national ranking in fact takes into consideration variables such as the green Ape, which, as Acea Energia's guide reminds us, must contain the energy classification of buildings, CO2 emissions and the average consumption indexes of renewable (EPgl,ren) and non-renewable (EPgl,nren) energy. The topic is hot after the Ecofin: the Council of European Ministers of Economy and Finance - gave the green light to the directive on the energy performance of buildings. The goal is to sharply reduce energy consumption and pollutant gas emissions from houses and buildings by 2035, to achieve zero emissions by 2050.
