The phenomenon of commercial pressure in banks, christened 'budget sickness' by Plus24, is back. The quarterly figures of Italian banking groups recorded a boom in net fee income, showing that asset management is one of the main sources of income at the moment. But there is the other side of the coin, namely the commercial pressures that have two consequences: work-related stress for bankers pressured by bosses, and inadequate sales potential for client profiles.
