The Reggia di Caserta promotes bottom-up valorisation through a special call addressed to its territory and community, focusing on participation, experimentation and innovation. The notice inviting proposals for cultural valorisation initiatives to be realised in the Vanvitellian Complex of the Reggia di Caserta (Palace, Royal Park, Carolino Aqueduct), through digital, physical or phygital activities consistent with the museum's mission, is online. Proposals shall promote the enjoyment of the tangible and intangible heritage, foster moments of aggregation and integrate artistic and creative expressions in harmony with the cultural landscape. Entities, research institutes, universities, conservatories, training centres, cultural operators, cooperatives, foundations, voluntary associations, social promotion associations, and other non-profit organisations may participate, even with two-year projects. The projects must stand out for scientific rigour, clarity of content, innovation and focus on accessibility, attractiveness, and the creative interpretation of spaces. Subjects must have a curriculum suitable for the project presented. An important characteristic that projects must possess is sustainability, in an economic and environmental sense. For its part, the Reggia di Caserta, headed by the Director General Tiziana Maffei, is making available free of charge the spaces in which the activities will be held and will collaborate in promoting the initiatives through its official communication channels (website, facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.).
Evaluation and Timing
.Each initiative must have its own economic autonomy and may be supported by sponsorships, which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the Scientific Committee, which will evaluate their compatibility and relevance to the Museum's mission. With regard to the environmental theme, the initiatives must be in line with the sustainability objectives of Agenda 2030 pursued by the Royal Palace of Caserta and must use sustainable and recyclable materials, paying attention to the production of waste and its correct and careful disposal by following the rules of separate waste collection. The proposals received will initially be subjected to an administrative inquiry by the Communication, Enhancement and Promotion Service, aimed at verifying the completeness of the documentation submitted. Subsequently, the projects will be examined by the Scientific Committee of the Royal Palace of Caserta, which will assess them on the basis of the criteria set out in the call for proposals and their consistency with the institute's mission. To send in your project proposal there is time until 23 May for annual or biennial initiatives to be carried out from September 2025 to February 2026.
