La Scala Philharmonic celebrates 160 years of Sole 24 Ore
In the setting of Milan Cathedral, the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro Lorenzo Viotti will perform in the Concert Celebrating 160 years of the newspaper
It will be an event of rare intensity that will close the programme of celebrations for the 160th anniversary of the Sole 24 Ore, which has seen a packed schedule of initiatives throughout the year.
Wednesday 19 November, in the setting of the Duomo di Milano, the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Maestro Lorenzo Viotti will perform in the Concerto Celebrativo dei 160 anni del quotidiano, offering the public a musical experience of exceptional artistic value and strong symbolic significance.
The event, organised thanks to the hospitality of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo, is the culmination of a year dedicated to celebrating the newspaper's evolution through three centuries and its role in the country's economic, cultural and information system.
Milan - the city that has always hosted the newspaper's headquarters and accompanied its growth - becomes the natural stage for an event conceived as a tribute to the city and its community of readers.
In the evocative setting of the Duomo, a place of spirituality, art and collective memory, music becomes a bridge between tradition and the future, in a cultural gesture that combines history, editorial vision and great symphonic production. Welcoming the special evening will be Monsignor Gianantonio Borgonovo, Archpriest of the Duomo of Milan, the President of the 24 ORE Group Maria Carmela Colaiacovo, the CEO of the 24 ORE Group Federico Silvestri and the Editor-in-Chief of Il Sole 24 Ore Fabio Tamburini.
