The Il Sole 24 Ore Group has been awarded the 2026 HEART Award for the best use of corporate social responsibility in the field of HR
The Group’s commitment to valuing its people through policies on sustainability, inclusion, welfare and professional development has been recognised
The Il Sole 24 ORE Group has received the 2026 HEART Award in the ‘Best Use of Corporate Social Responsibility in HR’ category, an initiative organised by People are People – a publication of the Oltre La Media Group – and dedicated to best practices in HR and projects that place people at the heart of corporate strategies.
The awards ceremony took place in Milan on the evening of Wednesday 23 September as part of the first edition of the HEART Awards, an initiative that recognises organisations actively engaged in the fields of inclusion, change management, wellbeing and talent development. HEART stands for Humanity, Empowerment, Awareness, Respect and Talent – the principles that guided the assessment of the nominated projects.
During the evening, 22 category awards and 5 special mentions from the jury were presented, in recognition of projects developed by companies of various sizes and from different sectors.
The award presented to the Il Sole 24 ORE Group recognises a clear commitment: to make sustainability a measurable part of the way the organisation operates. The 2025–2027 Sustainability Plan sets out targets and KPIs, integrates them into the governance framework and links them to management incentives. In 2025, this approach resulted in 5,352 hours of training for employees, the renewal of the gender equality certification and the involvement of around 100 people in corporate volunteering.
The “Listening to Include” project, carried out in collaboration with NoisyVision, demonstrates what it means to put people first: directly involving those with visual impairments, listening to their experiences and gathering feedback to make spaces more accessible. This is the purpose of the award: to recognise an organisation that strives to turn listening into action, inclusion into everyday practice, and sustainability goals into verifiable results.
