The weather forecast for Italy over the next few days
According to the Italian Air Force’s meteorological service.
Central Italy and Sardinia: initially clear skies everywhere; during the middle of the day, there will be a temporary increase in cumulus cloud cover over the Apennine regions of Tuscany, accompanied by localised showers.
The South and Sicily: partly cloudy skies with associated rainfall over Sicily and Calabria, locally in the form of thunderstorms but easing in the evening; fine weather in the remaining regions.
Temperatures: minimum temperatures rising slightly in the north; generally unchanged elsewhere.
Highs are rising in Sardinia, Lazio, Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily; falling slightly in the Triveneto region; and remaining unchanged elsewhere.
Winds: moderate from the north along the Sardinian coast, the coastal areas of the central and southern Adriatic regions, and in Umbria; light and variable across the rest of the country.
