Theft in the Louvre: arrested Doudou Cross Bitume, social star for motorbike videos
Open investigation into possible foreign instigator, while an influencer is involved in the incredible theft

The 'heist' of the century, but with unlikely suspects. One of the men arrested on charges of organised theft and conspiracy to steal 88 million euros in jewellery from the Louvre museum is a minor social star.

Identified by French officials as Abdoulaye N., the 39-year-old man, who allegedly worked as a security guard at the Pompidou Centre in the past, is famous on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
According to the French media, he is known on social media as Doudou Cross Bitume. Videos show him performing motorbike stunts in Paris, including near the Stade de France sports stadium.
He was arrested at his home in the northern suburb of Paris. His DNA was allegedly found on one of the display cases and on objects left inside the museum, such as gloves, a jacket and a box cutter.
Previous ones
There are allegedly 15 offences on his criminal record, including possession and transportation of drugs and driving without a licence. He was also convicted of robbing a jewellery store in 2014.
