There will be 377 work placements at diplomatic missions. The third 2026 call for applications from MAECI, MUR and CRUI is now online.

Master’s degree and single-cycle degree students have until 5.00 pm on 28 September to apply via tirocinicrui.app for one of the 377 work placements offered under the new call for applications for the MAECI MUR CRUI programme. Sixty universities are taking part in this call for applications, and the successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with embassies (177 places available), consulates (91), cultural institutes (64), diplomatic missions (44) and delegations (1). Geographically, the placements at the host organisations are distributed as follows: 185 in Europe, 90 in the Americas, 61 in Asia, 27 in Africa and 14 in Oceania.

The work placements, 22 of which will be carried out remotely, will begin on 11 January 2027, end on 9 April 2026 and may be extended for a further month, subject to agreement between the parties. The placement entitles participants to at least 1 CFU for each month of activity and a minimum expense allowance of 300 euros per month if carried out in person. Following changes to the regulations governing entry into the diplomatic service, the selection notice is open to graduates of all degree programmes.
