Three Scottish mists and the darkness of Macbeth

Just before the popular opening of the Verdi Festival, with the Street Parade on 20 September, entitled Everything in the world is a joke! and consisting of a peaceful invasion of the centre of Parma by artists, bands and choirs, in the Galleria San Ludovico the new Verdi Off commission addressed to the two prestigious signatures of Damiano Michieletto and Paolo Fantin will take shape and space, according to the definition of its creators. Director and set designer, perhaps moving in view of a next performance, who knows, on the Parma stage, will visually reinterpret the psychic pain and the night of Macbeth, "destined never to end". Il sonno uccidesti is the title of the project, which will remain open until the last day of the Festival, 19 October: evocative of a Scottish mist from which voices and sounds emerge, in a motionless and breathless time, where it seems impossible to find a way out.
