The rescue for Totti's real estate company, with its balance sheet in the red, comes to the Israelis. Earlier this summer, the former Roma footballer reportedly sold the entire capital of the company Dieci, according to some sites, to a company incorporated in Israel that is part of a Tel Aviv-based real estate group specialising in hotel renovation projects.
Dieci Immobiliare, managed by Francesco Totti's brother, was sold, again according to information, for 5 million: the two leasing contracts that the company had with Mps have now passed into the hands of the Israelis: the first property is in Via Rasella, the second is the residence in Tor Tre Teste, rented to the municipality to house ninety indigent families who have been waiting for years for social housing.
The 90 housed families now fear eviction as the new ownership has plans to build shopping, residential and hotel centres including 12 hotels of which at least five with over 600 rooms.
