Tourism: a training network for the sector is launched
The project, funded by the Ministry of Tourism, is led by Luiss “Guido Carli”, with Federturismo Confindustria acting as coordinator
Seven highly specialised programmes (ranging from university master’s degrees to ITS courses) designed to strengthen managerial, digital and sustainability skills, with the aim of establishing a training model for the tourism sector and forging a link between the education system and businesses. The new project, funded by the Ministry of Tourism, is called Feogist “Tourism Leaders Academy”: managed by ACI, it has Luiss “Guido Carli” as the lead partner and Federturismo Confindustria as the body responsible for management, coordination and communication.
Training courses
The educational programme comprises seven highly specialised courses, ranging from university master’s degrees to executive master’s programmes, from summer schools to ITS courses, with a focus on sustainable tourism, hospitality, marina management, trade fair management and innovation in tourism services. The programme includes the Level I Master’s degree in ‘Digital Management of Smart Tourism Systems’; the summer school in ‘Tourism, Hospitality and Lifestyle’; the advanced training programme in ‘Sustainable Tourism Management in Inland Areas’; the Executive Master’s in “Marketing – specialising in trade fair management”; the advanced specialisation course “Advanced Travel Agent”; the advanced specialisation course “The New Horizon of Marina Management”; and the advanced specialisation course “Luxury Hospitality Excellence”.
Courses starting this autumn at five venues
The courses will begin in autumn 2026 at the campuses in Rome, Milan, Naples, Lecce and Padua, in face-to-face, hybrid and online formats, aimed at students, recent graduates, professionals, managers and workers interested in updating or reskilling. Thanks to the Federturismo Confindustria network, Feogist will engage with thousands of businesses in the sector, helping to match the supply and demand for skills. The involvement of Aefi and Assomarinas will also ensure a direct link with the trade fair sector and tourist ports, strengthening the relationship between training and the labour market.
The network
Feogist is bringing to life a national network that connects universities, higher education institutions, trade associations and businesses: in addition to Luiss Guido Carli and Federturismo Confindustria, the University of Naples Federico II, SDA Bocconi School of Management, ITS Academy Puglia, Assomarinas and AEFI, in collaboration with Altagamma, the Italian School of Hospitality and Luiss Business School.
