The deadline for applying for the incentive, promoted by the Ministry of Tourism and administered by Invitalia, has been extended by fifteen days: 30 September 2026 is the new deadline to note in your diary. This was announced in an online notice from Invitalia, the National Agency for Development.
The Fund for the Support of Tourism Businesses – Green Tour – is aimed at businesses in the sector to support “the development of tourism provision across the country, including through measures designed to promote the deseasonalisation of tourist flows, the digitalisation of the tourism ecosystem, tourism supply chains, investments to meet environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria, and sustainable tourism”, as stated on the official website of the Ministry of Tourism. The fund supports investment programmes ranging from 1 to 15 million euros, intended primarily for improving the energy efficiency of tourist facilities and/or the generation of energy from renewable sources.
