Towards Logistics Day 2026
In-person event: LEONARDO DA VINCIS NATIONAL MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, Via San Vittore, 21 – Milan, and streamed live: 24oreventi.com/logisticsday2026
The logistics and freight transport sector is at a crucial juncture. The Italian logistics sector is one of constant growth and transformation, and its importance to the national economy has become even more apparent in light of the current delicate geopolitical situation in the Middle East, which continues to have a significant impact on the movement of goods and to reshape the balance of trade routes.
The development of logistics is strategic for industrial competitiveness, particularly in a Europe where value chains are also held back by regulatory fragmentation. At a time in history when the challenge is to choose whether to simply endure global changes or to help shape them, the second edition of ‘Logistics Day’, organised by Il Sole 24 Ore under the patronage of Addologistica and scheduled for Thursday 25 June in Milan, will provide an opportunity for dialogue between institutions and industry operators, with the aim of discussing and developing innovative strategies in a sector currently at a crucial juncture.
On stage at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology, from 10.00 am and throughout the morning, ample time will be devoted to the experiences of those who have been working in the sector for years. During the panel discussions, this perspective will be contrasted with the views of experts and the stance of institutions, with a view to opening a dialogue on current challenges and possible solutions. Subject to registration, the event will also be available via live stream, enabling it to reach interested audiences across the country.
The discussions will focus on the key drivers of change in logistics: from geopolitical tensions affecting the balance of global trade to strategic infrastructure; from innovation driven by artificial intelligence and automation to sustainability; and the regulatory and contractual challenges accompanying the sector’s evolution.
The morning session, moderated by Maria Carla De Cesari, Editor-in-Chief of the ‘Norme & Tributi’ section at *Il Sole 24 Ore*, and by Matteo Prioschi, a journalist at *Il Sole 24 Ore*, will begin at 10.00 with opening remarks from the Editor-in-Chief of *Il Sole 24 Ore*, Fabio Tamburini.
