Transition 5.0, Urso: 'Almost 20,000 applications. 4.2 billion in tax credits requested'
For Minister Adolfo Urso, the Transition 5.0 plan 'was not a flop, but a success'
For Adolfo Urso, the Transition 5.0 plan 'was not a flop, but a success'. In a heated atmosphere with the oppositions, during the Senate question time, the holder of the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy announced that the applications submitted were just under 20 thousand.
4.25 billion in claimed tax credits
The tax credit claimed, thus, amounted to EUR 4.25 billion. Hence, an 'activated investment amount of 9 billion euro'.
It remains 'legitimate to think,' added Urso, 'that with proper communication to companies the results would have been more relevant.
Intervention in Manoeuvre
Urso recalled the intervention with the last Budget Law, which allocated an additional 1.3 billion to be allocated, however, to the 4.0 programme, which provides tax credits with lower rates.
Whereas the 5.0 plan was based on tax credits of up to 45% for investments below 10 million and of up to 15% for investments above that, the 4.0 plan provides a tax credit of up to 20%.
