Disruptions at the Florence junction. At the station of Santa Maria Novella, some trains were cancelled, such as the HS train arriving at 12.11 from Roma Termini and some regional trains from Foligno, Pisa and Viareggio expected after 12 noon. The protest

The strike affects travelling personnel, traffic workers and railway operating services, excluding Rfi infrastructure maintenance workers who have already gone on strike on 11 April, Usb specifies. The national assembly Pdm/Pdb Gruppo Fsi will instead abstain from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Ferrovie dello Stato group only.

These are the same unions that, accepting the solicitation of the strike sponsor, had suspended the protest scheduled for Saturday 17 May, close to the enthronement mass of Pope Leo XIV on Sunday 18 May.

The guarantee bands

.

Usb specifies that long-distance trains advertised on official company channels are guaranteed from origin to destination if they are the result of an industry agreement. For regional transport, the essential services foreseen in the event of a strike on weekdays are guaranteed in the guarantee bands from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
