Treasury: banks instructed to arrange a syndicate placement for a new 12-year Green BTp

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The Ministry of Economy and Finance has appointed a syndicate of banks comprising Barclays, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo, JPMorgan and Société Générale to manage a syndicated issue of a new 12-year Green BTP maturing on 30 October 2038. This was announced in a press release, which specified that the transaction will take place in the near future, subject to market conditions. The proceeds from the placement of the Green BTp are intended to finance initiatives in the State budget (tax incentives and expenditure) with environmentally sustainable benefits.
