US President Donald Trump returned to attacking Fed Chairman Jerome Powell following the release of today's macroeconomic data, in particular those on unemployment claims and retail sales.
"Great numbers just came out. Lower rates," Trump wrote, addressing Powell with the nickname "Too late," since, compared to other central bankers, he is leaving rates unchanged.
