Trump falls asleep in the Oval Office again. The video goes viral
Questions about the real state of health of the President of the United States do not subside
Lately there has been a lot of talk about his health - at the end of May there was the third scheduled visit in less than 13 months - a video is rekindling doubts about US President Donald Trump's actual condition. Commander-in-sleep' and 'sleepy Trump' are the nicknames going crazy on social media after a new video in which the US president appears to doze off in the Oval Office went viral.
The tycoon is listening to a series of speeches on coal sitting at his desk and in a couple of moments seems to close his eyes, leaving his head to one side. The episode is the latest in a series for the almost 80-year-old president and occurred just in the aftermath of a Marco Rubio hearing in Congress, during which the Secretary of State denied that Trump has ever fallen asleep during official events.
At the end of his last visit at the end of May, the president wrote on Truth Social: 'I have just finished my six-monthly medical examination at Walter Reed Military Medical Center. Everything turned out perfect'. However, questions about the tycoon's health persist, as independent doctors have questioned why Trump's hands are repeatedly bruised, why his legs are swollen, and whether his occasional sleepiness is a symptom of a deeper physical and mental problem, finding the White House's explanations insufficient. Asked about the bruises - often covered with make-up - the Republican said he takes large amounts of aspirin to 'thin his blood' in an attempt to prevent blood clots, strokes or heart attacks. His aides explained that this causes bruising following handshakes.
