After almost an hour, a visibly agitated Donald Trump abruptly broke off an interview with Kristen Welker, an Nbc news reporter, recorded on Friday in Wisconsin and aired today. After the journalist insisted that he had not provided the slightest evidence to support his disputed allegations that the 2020 election was 'stolen' from him.
Trump: 'You are partisan, let's end it here'
"You are a fabulous and dishonest network," thundered the president. "Let's call it a day, because I've had enough. Thank you, dear. Have a nice continuation," the tycoon cut in. Welker insisted that Trump continue, reminding him that she had travelled specifically to Wisconsin for the interview, but the president refused, claiming that he had "sat in the rain with you for an hour". 'I gave you enough time. You should get your act together. A country can never be great with a dishonest press,' he attacked. The journalist then revealed that she had spoken again with the president who agreed to give her a second interview.
