Trump removes tariffs on Scotch whisky in honour of Charles and Camilla
The tycoon announced this in a post on Truth
Donald Trump will remove 'tariffs and restrictions on whisky related to Scotland's ability to cooperate with the Commonwealth of Kentucky on whisky and bourbon, in honour of the King and Queen of the United Kingdom, who have just left the White House and are now about to return to their wonderful country'. The tycoon announced this in a post on Truth.
These are, Trump added, 'areas of great importance to both Scotland and Kentucky. Many had long wished for this step, given the intensity of bilateral trade', 'particularly with regard to the wooden barrels used'. Charles and Camilla 'induced me to make a gesture that no one else had been able to achieve, and they did it almost without even explicitly asking! It was an extraordinary honour to have them both here in the United States of America,' the tycoon concluded.
