The United States needs the Greenland for defence reasons. Donald Trump said this in an interview with The Atlantic, according to Bloomberg news agency.

Danish PM to US: 'No more threats on Greenland'
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen urged the US to 'end threats against a historic ally'. Copenhagen's stance comes after Donald Trump reiterated that Greenland "is necessary" to the US for its national security. "I must make this clear to the US: it is absolutely absurd to say that the US should take control of Greenland," he added, referring to the autonomous territory under the Danish crown.
Rodriguez does the right things or pays a high price
On the Venezuelan affair, on the other hand, Trump said that if Delcy Rodríguez "does not do what is right, he will pay a very high price, probably higher than Maduro".
