Trump: 'We will disclose all information on UFOs and alien life'
US president's announcement on Truth: 'Complex topics, but there is enormous interest'
US President Donald Trump announces on his social Truth that government files "relating to alien and extraterrestrial life, unidentified aerial phenomena (Uap) and unidentified flying objects (Ufo) will be disclosed".
For the tenant of the White House, there is an 'enormous interest' in the topic. In his post, the tycoon also assures that 'all information related to these extremely complex, but extremely interesting and important issues' will be released.
In 2022, the US space agency Nasa commissioned a group of experts to conduct a scientific study of unidentified aerial phenomena. The research, the results of which were made public in September 2023, found no conclusive evidence of a link between the unexplained events observed and intelligent extraterrestrial life forms.
Experts had, however, recommended that NASA use satellites and other tools, including artificial intelligence and machine learning systems, to gather more data on the phenomena, after which the agency appointed its first director for UFO research. There has always been a vast population of enthusiasts and/or plotters around the world, according to whom Washington, in secret military bases such as the Area 51 in Nevada, would keep incontrovertible evidence of contact with alien beings.
