Pd first party

In the centre-right, Fratelli d'Italia leads the way with 26.8 per cent, while Forza Italia, at 6.2 per cent, overtakes the Lega, at 4.4 per cent. Toscana Rossa has 4.5 per cent.
Frequency at 47.7%
3 million Tuscans were called to the polls. Since 1970, the year in which the regions were established, the turnout at the regional elections fell from 95.9% to 48.28% in the 2015 elections, the lowest figure ever and the first time with less than half of the voters, and then rose again to 62.6% in the 2020 round (when the constitutional referendum on the reduction of the number of parliamentarians was also being voted on, which drove the turnout). This round saw a new heavy drop with a turnout of 47.7% (in line with 2015), about 15 points lower than five years ago. This is the lowest figure in the history of regional elections. The perception of a game that was not really contestable would have weighed on the non-voting.
Schlein: thanks to Giani, victory gives us joy and hope
"I want to thank Giani for this wonderful joy, to thank the entire progressive coalition, it is a victory that gives us joy and hope, we thank the Tuscans who wanted to continue in the wake of a progressive government," declared the Pd secretary Elly Schlein, during a press conference on the Regionals in the electoral committee for Eugenio Giani president. "Those who had hastened to declare the end of the progressive coalition are now belied in fact," she added
Giani: wide field is winning, signal at national level
"In Tuscany, the wide field is a winner and now it must and will interpret the whole region," said Eugeni Giani speaking at the election committee. And again: "What comes from Tuscany, a land of good governance, is a national signal"
