"In total, some 1,270 drones, 39 missiles and almost a thousand Kabs (guided aerial bombs, ed.) were deployed last week". This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, after a new attack in the night "with 101 drones, the vast majority of which were Russian-Iranian 'shahed'. 'We sincerely hope,' says the Ukrainian leader, 'that our partners will respect all agreements made. Air defence is essential for the protection of life. We are already very dynamically implementing agreements on investments in our weapons production, in particular all types of drones'.

Throughout the night and into the morning, emergency relief operations were conducted in the Donetsk and Dnipro regions. In Kharkiv, rubble was being cleared after an attack on apartment blocks. Twenty-seven people were injured, including three children. "The youngest, a girl, is only three years old," Zelensky continued. "Three people were hospitalised," he added, "unfortunately, there was a victim in Odessa. My condolences to the family and loved ones."
