Ukraine: Zelensky says attacks on refineries will stop if Russia halts its attacks on energy infrastructure

Any measure aimed at easing tensions must be reciprocal

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - Ukraine would be prepared to halt its attacks on Russian oil refineries if Moscow were to cease its attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on his X profile, following criticism from Donald Trump. ‘Ukraine will be prepared to cease its attacks on Russian oil refineries if Russia stops targeting our energy infrastructure. Any de-escalation measures must be reciprocal and accompanied by concrete guarantees,’ he wrote.
