Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba offers resignation

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba offers to resign. This was announced by the speaker of parliament. Yesterday the news Kuleba, would be among the first to be torpedoed by President Volodymyr Zelensky. This was reported by sources in Ukrainska Pravda. The most likely candidate to replace Kuleba is First Deputy Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. According to the same sources, more dismissals are being prepared in the government. At the same time, it was reported that Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal remains in office.

Six Ukrainian officials, including several government ministers, have resigned while a presidential aide has been torpedoed. "As promised, a major government reshuffle is planned this week. More than 50 per cent of the government staff will be changed,' the president's spokesman, David Arakhamia, wrote on Telegram. Several Ukrainian ministers had already submitted their resignations, including the Minister of Strategic Industries, the Minister of Justice, and the Minister of Environmental Protection. The head of the Ukrainian State Property Fund, Vitaliy Koval, also resigned, as did the two deputy premiers Iryna Vereshchuk and Olga Stefanishyna. The deputy head of Zelensky's office and one of the president's top aides, Rostyslav Shurma, has meanwhile been torpedoed, according to a presidential decree. Zelensky has ordered several reshuffles since the beginning of the war, torpedoing his defence minister last September after a series of corruption scandals and, more recently, replacing his supreme commander following setbacks on the battlefield.
