This was reported by the Russian news agency Interfax, citing aviation sources. Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, and Witkoff, special envoy for peace missions, are the negotiators chosen by Trump. Their trip to Moscow had been announced earlier by Trump himself: “Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner are two great negotiators. They have done an excellent job. They will be bringing a proposal to end the war,” he had stated.
