Ultra-light plane crashes in Udine, two dead

The accident occurred on the afternoon of 2 September in Permariacco: a flight instructor and his 15-year-old student died in hospital

The two occupants of the ultralight aircraft that crashed at 5 p.m. near an airfield in Premariacco, in the province of Udine, died in hospital late on Monday evening, 2 September: a 15-year-old girl, a student from Roveredo in Piano in the province of Pordenone, and her flight instructor, a 31-year-old young man from Udine. The aircraft crashed during an acclimatisation flight and then caught fire, causing the two occupants very serious burns. Their condition worsened as the hours passed. The area of the tragedy and the remains of the plane were seized by the Carabinieri on the orders of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
