UniCredit, growing results drive premium up to 2,770
Agreement between the bank headed by Andrea Orcel and the unions on the Vap, which was increased by 11%, and on the meal voucher, which was raised to EUR 10

The CEO of UniCredit, Andrea Orcel, after announcing in recent days record results, with a 2025 archived with 10.6 billion in profits, summarised in this way the meaning of the numbers of the agreement with the trade unions (Fabi, First, Fisac, Uilca and Unisin) on the 2025 result bonus, the Vap (added value per capita): the agreement raises the amount to 2.770, if disbursed in the welfare account, and retouches the meal voucher to EUR 10 from January 2027, from the current EUR 8, thus structurally reaching the maximum limit defined for tax exemption. For Ilaria Dalla Riva, Head of People & Culture Italia and Coo Italia at UniCredit, "this is a concrete demonstration of our commitment to supporting employees and underlines the importance of the constant and constructive dialogue with the trade unions".
As explained in a Fabi note, the recognition refers to 2025 and, by way of productivity, profitability and contribution for the dental policy, registers an increase of 11% compared to what was defined for the previous year. The agreement, for the unions, enhances the strong commitment of all the group's bankers, confirming the solidity and quality of the negotiation framework reached.
With regard to the bonus, those who opt for the 'welfare account' allocation will receive a total amount of EUR 2,770, including the quota inherent in the additional dental coverage as in previous years, which will be credited in April. Those who opt for the 'cash' disbursement will receive a total amount of EUR 2,270, again including the share inherent in the additional dental cover, which will be credited in June.
For Stefano Cefaloni of Fabi 'the agreement, as a whole, enhances the bonus at UniCredit as one of the most advanced and competitive facilities in the credit sector. In particular, the recognition of the meal voucher, at the maximum limit of the defiscalisation, represents an objective and significant economic increase of a structural nature'. Sabrina Brezzo, general secretary addition First Cisl, explains that 'an agreement has been reached that achieves an overall increase with structural benefits, both of attention to welfare and social inclusion, with the full accrual of the premium to specific cases of absence and with the renewal of the temporary policy in the event of death, and through the adjustment of meal tickets'. The national secretary of Fisac, Riccardo Sanna, speaks of "a unique agreement in the sector, in terms of quantity and quality, which recognises the Group's workers for their contribution to the achievement of the extraordinary results that emerged from last year's data presentation, making the redistribution we had requested towards those who contributed in a decisive manner to the achievement of record results". After a long and difficult negotiation, observes the Uilca secretary in charge of Unicredit, Rosario Mingoia, 'an agreement was reached to the full satisfaction of the employees, which allows them to benefit from an increasing bonus compared to past years, currently the highest in the Italia banking system'. Francesco Grandine of Unisin Confsal also notes 'the attention paid to female colleagues who are victims of violence, to whom, in the event of prolonged absence, the Vap is in any case recognised'.
