Enterprises, Urso announces 1.5 billion on Transition 5.0. Orsini: 'It is the right way'
All the resources foreseen in the manoeuvre (1.3 billion) will be restored and an additional 200 million will be added
Restored - and indeed expanded - the resources for the 'exodus' of the Transition 5.0 plan. This is what Adolfo Urso announced to the employers' associations during the round table organised at the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. A meeting organised after last Friday's Council of Ministers, in which the tax decree-law was passed that provided less funds for companies than expected (537 million instead of 1.3 billion). Now, instead, it will be 1.5 billion.
The exodus
This is EUR 200 million more than in the last budget law. In the manoeuvre, in fact, EUR 1.3 billion had been added to be earmarked for the exodus from the Transition 5.0 plan. These are those companies that had applied for the tax credit for capital goods and not in the period of time when the allocated resources had already ended (i.e. from 7 to 27 November 2025).
The alarm for businesses, however, came last Friday with the Council of Ministers. Those funds (1.3 billion precisely) were turned into 537 million euro. That is why, a few hours later, the table was convened at the ministry.
The table at Mimit
The meeting started at around 11.40 a.m. and was attended by Enterprise Minister Urso, Minister for European Affairs, the NRP and Cohesion Policies, Tommaso Foti, and Deputy Minister for the Economy, Maurizio Leo. They agreed on the restoration of resources and an addition - 200 million euro - to be given to companies.
The "sacrifices" to find resources
Where do the funds come from? On the sidelines of the event, there were two answers: 'From the forecasts we had made,' said Leo, adding that 'the problem has been solved'; 'from a bit of sacrifice,' said Foti instead.
