US: Services PMI rises to 51.3 points in June (flash estimate), exceeding forecasts

Activity in the US services sector increased in June, with the figure exceeding expectations. The preliminary reading of the PMI services index, compiled by S&P Global, stood at 51.3 points, against estimates of 51.1 points, following 50.7 the previous month. A reading above 50 points indicates expansion.
