USA: Shooting near festival in Toledo, Ohio, at least 12 injured

Shots were fired in Toledo, Ohio, near the site where the Old West End Festival was being held. At least 12 were wounded. The youngest is 14 years old, the oldest is 61.

The Toledo Police Department stated that it was searching for the suspect(s) involved.

Police are working on the assumption that there were at least two armed assailants, who were probably shooting at each other. "Summer festivals should be safe places where families can be together without fear of violence," Ohio's Republican governor Mike DeWin wrote in a post on X.
