Valle d'Aosta will participate in the 15th edition of Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, organised by Slow Food in Turin at Parco Dora from 26 to 30 September, which will host more than 600 Italian and international producers, exhibition spaces, and numerous events. 'We will present the food and wine excellence of the Aosta Valley and what the territory has to offer,' says Agriculture Councillor Marco Carrel. The stand will be flanked by a commercial space with 6 companies selected by the Chambre Valdôtaine de Commerce, which will cover 70% of the cost of participation and business support: Saint - Roch - Levi - Ottoz (liqueurs and spirits), Bonne Vallée (dry pastries and typical desserts), da Emy (liqueurs and officinal herbs), Tegoleria artigianale valdostana (baked goods), Altura (smoked trout), Azienda agricola Praz Julien (dairy products). There will be two regional taste workshops: on 28 September at 2 p.m. with dairy products, Fontina Dop and matching wines; on the 29th with cheeses and cured meats, again at 2 p.m. and matching local wines. "Tradition and innovation are the key words to define the excellence of Valdostan production," says Roberto Sapia, president of the Chambre.
