Aosta Valley national capital of giving

Aosta Valley Capital of Giving 2024. The award will be celebrated on 4 October in Aosta where 'all the faces of an Italy that gives' will be presented. Students, the Third Sector, municipalities, virtuous enterprises and citizens will be involved. The event is organised by the Italian Institute for Donation in collaboration with the Coordinamento solidarietà Valle d'Aosta (CSV). Many events will involve the entire region between September and October. "This is an extraordinary recognition for the community and for the daily actions of the women and men who work in the more than 230 voluntary associations in the region," says Claudio Latino, president of CSV Vda. For Alberto Fontana, president of the Italian Institute of Donation, 'we have chosen the rooftop region of Europe as the symbol of the 10th edition to underline the warm participation of the Aosta Valley since its inception.
