Verisure is consolidating its presence in Italy by expanding its team with 300 new people, who will be added to the 3,000 already in place throughout Italy. The Swedish multinational that makes alarm systems and has its heaquarter in Geneva, has a capillary presence in Italy, in 15 regions and 78 provinces. There are about 350,000 Italian customers, a figure that continues to grow at a steady rate year after year. Compared to 2023, the rate of increase in customers is more than 23%. In 2024, the number of alarms intercepted and processed by the Verisure Operations Centre was 7 million. Of these, around 10,000 were actual cases of danger: in 80% of the cases were attempted intruders, in the remaining 20% other medical emergencies or domestic accidents. The number of customers is growing and the number of workers is also growing, at the rate of about 300 per year over the last six years. If there are about 3,000 today, there will be 1,800 in 2021 alone.
The Verisure sales network includes 1,500 professionals including salespeople, team leaders and managerial figures, while the rest are employees working in the various company departments, including Customer Care, Operations, Maintenance, IT, HR and other staff functions. In 2025 there will be 300 new employees, 200 of whom will be employed on a VAT basis in the sales area and the other 100 will be hired on a full-time or part-time permanent contract, after a fixed-term period of 6 months. In the latter case, we are talking about staff profiles, i.e. technical and operational support profiles, including alarm system maintenance technicians and customer service figures. After the recruiting day on 8 May at the Luiss University, the campaign continues on 20 May at the Verisure Italia headquarter in Rome for the recruiting day for Sales Consultant profiles, on 4 May in Rome.125rem;">June at Porta Futuro Regione Lazio for the active search for telephone consultants for the Customer area (upselling, loyalty and customer experience) and on 26 June at the Verisure Italia headquarter in Rome with the session dedicated to protected categories, with opportunities for insertion in various company departments.
The sales network is predominantly made up of professionals with single-entry VAT number, "a formula that allows people who are approaching the profession for the first time, or come from sales experience in other sectors, to assess their potential and motivation to undertake a more structured path within the company," explain the company. For all those who embark on a leadership path and become managers of a team, Verisure then offers the possibility of continuing with the internal growth path, joining the company team as full-time employees. Everyone is offered a rich welfare plan that includes, depending on the role, the possibility of working in hybrid mode, for example. In addition, to ensure an effective gender balance in the family-work relationship, parents are offered extended paternity days, the baby bonus, reimbursements for crèches or summer centres, and extra leave for children's illnesses. Last year there was an increase in overall investment by the company of more than 50 per cent in support of families and green mobility. The new 'Green Island' headquarters with more than 1,300 locations is emblematic of Verisure's sustainability vision and environmental footprint, which from 2021 will join the United Nations Global Compact (GCUN) to support the Sustainable Development Goals.
