Verisure grows by 2 figures and hires 300 technicians, maintenance workers, salespeople and guards
The company that produces and manages alarm systems in 2025 handled 9 million shots in our country, of which 11 thousand concerned real cases: more than half, 6 thousand, concerned attempted intruders, 1,500 medical cases and 19 cases of domestic violence
Key points
Technicians, maintainers, but also specialised figures in alarm system support, sales and services. These are among the profiles that the Swedish-based company Verisure (with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland) is seeking in our country. In all, there are 300 open positions with the aim of supporting the double-digit growth of the Italian branch, which outperforms the global average. Since 2013, Verisure has grown at a steady pace in Italia, both in terms of people, who now number 3,400 and have an average age of 40, and in terms of territorial presence, reaching operations in 18 regions and 94 provinces of Italy.
Global Growth
As of 31 March 2026, Verisure's global customer portfolio reached 6.3 million, up 9.7% year-on-year. During the same period, there were 222,900 new installations, up 2.7% year-on-year. At the economic level, group turnover reached EUR 1,019 million, up 10.3% year-on-year. Growth was also supported by the solid performance in strategic markets such as the UK and Italia, despite an economic environment still characterised by uncertainty.
The Verisure model
The Verisure model combines proprietary technology and 24/7 human supervision. It consists of three phases: monitoring, verification and intervention. The operations centre receives and analyses the signals, promptly verifies the alarm and, when a concrete risk emerges, activates the necessary procedures until the event is resolved, involving, as appropriate, the Police, Emergency Services and Security Agencies present in the area. Among private companies, Verisure's operations centre is one of the largest in Italy and represents the beating heart of the service, with 150 sworn special guards and highly qualified operators.
The Interventions
Globally, in 2025, Verisure handled more than 85 million alarm signals in all the countries in which it operates, including more than 417,000 actual events that required on-site intervention by police, fire brigades, emergency services or partner security companies. In Italia, the Verisure Operations Centre receives an average of 23,000 shots every day. Thanks to technology, which plays a key role, false alarms are filtered out. In 2025, Verisure handled around 9 million alarm shots, of which almost 11,000 concerned real cases, which is a testament to the high filtering and verification capacity of the alerts. These events included more than 6,000 attempted intrusions, about 8,500 interventions involving the Police and 3,000 cases in which the ZeroVision smoke detector was activated. The Verisure Italia Operations Centre also handled 1,500 medical interventions and 19 cases of domestic violence, dealt with by the Sworn Special Guards, thanks to the specialist training received on the subject. Since 2022 Verisure has been working with the Differenza Donna Association, with which it has developed operational protocols and training courses dedicated to operators, aimed at strengthening their ability to recognise and manage situations of potential violence or danger. Since the beginning of this path 48 real cases have been managed.
The new recruiting model
In a context of misalignment between labour supply and demand, Verisure has chosen to change its approach to recruiting in order to respond to changes in the labour market and the expectations of the new generations. This is why it is going beyond traditional selection formats to introduce more engaging and immersive recruiting experiences, designed to create a direct dialogue between candidates, management and operational teams. An example of this is the 'Next Gen Voices' project, which is aimed in particular at recent graduates from technical institutes interested in embarking on a career as telephone consultants, and envisages an immersive day at the Verisure Italia Headquarters in Rome, during which candidates will be able to get to know the role first-hand through practical activities, discussions with managers and direct testimonials. This allows everyone to understand the possible career paths.
