There has been a change at the top management of the Veronesi Group, the first group in Italy that can count on a complete and integrated supply chain that starts from the production of animal feed up to the processing and distribution of traditional Italian meat and cured meats (among its brands Aia, Negroni and Veronesi). Alessandro d'Este, current President and CEO of Ferrero Commerciale Italia, has in fact been identified as the new CEO of Veronesi Holding, a position he will hold from next April.
Alessandro d'Este succeeds Luigi Fasoli, who is retiring, while retaining his current role as president. Fasoli has led the company since 2011, taking it to significant heights.
With about 8,400 employees spread across 24 production sites in Italy, the Veronesi Group closed 2022 with consolidated net revenues of 3.65 billion Euro, confirming its position as one of the leading Italian companies in the agri-food sector. Sales on the Italian and international markets contributed to this result: the company's Made in Italy exports reach over 70 countries and account for 14% of total turnover.
