The Italian test

.

It starts at 8.30 a.m. on 19 June with the first test, the Italian one; there are six hours available. The tracks, there are seven in all, "could be called interesting", and were chosen "in March", said the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, today, who recommended to the students: "do not waste time looking for them on the internet".

Themes toto

.

The anniversary of Giacomo Matteotti's assassination, the 150th anniversary of Guglielmo Marconi's birth and the 120th anniversary of Robert Oppenheimer's birth are among the tototo themes. Even an in-depth look at the topics of climate change and the new frontiers opened up by artificial intelligence, according to the students, could tickle the ministerial commissioners' 'fancy'. Among the most popular authors are Luigi Pirandello, Gabriele D'Annunzio, Alessandro Manzoni and Giuseppe Ungaretti. Among the historical anniversaries, the First World War stands out, but the Normandy landings are also popular. The Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the war in Ukraine, together with Facebook's 20th anniversary and everything to do with social networks and gender violence, top the list of favourite topical issues.

Graduation grade

.

The final grade is expressed in hundredths. School credit will weigh up to a maximum of 40 points. The remaining 60 points will be divided 20 maximum per test (two written and the oral). One passes the baccalaureate with 60 and a unanimous judgement of the committee is required for honours.
