The great wines from Piedmont (Conterno, Mascarello, Gaja) and Tuscany (Biondi Santi, Ornellaia, Sassicaia), Bordeaux labels (Château Latour), Burgundy (Domaine Leroy) and Champagne (Krug and Dom Pérignon). These are a small extract from the catalogue of Vinodoo, the new online platform specialising in fine wines that is set to become a reference point for tracking down (almost) unobtainable bottles.
Vinodoo is a start-up marketplace dedicated to buyers but also to ordinary consumers and specialising in rare and iconic wines. Thanks to a rigorous selection by its partners, including wine shops, restaurants and exclusive hotels, Vinodoo brings to wine lovers labels that are often difficult to find in traditional channels and usually reserved for the high-end restaurant circuit or even little-known bottles of great oenological value.
Over the next two years, Vinodoo plans strategic expansion in the markets of France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom, consolidating its presence in countries characterised by a strong wine culture and a growing interest in labels of excellence.
Thanks tointegration with Enoweb - a management system that boasts a database of over 300,000 labels and 18,000 producers - the platform will ensure efficient wine cataloguing and real-time stock updates. This allows buyers to always have access to an accurate and up-to-date assortment.
To date, Vinodoo offers some 7,000 labels from 2,000 producers and aims to reach 10,000 by mid-2025 by strengthening the offer of French wines in particular. In the catalogue there are bottles from over 30 countries although the vast majority (90%) come from Italy and France.
