Volkswagen, business offer becomes richer and more competitive
The new T-Roc is on its way and the Tiguan pushes the eHybrid: thus the SUV becomes even more attractive for fleets and professionals.
The debut is imminent and marks a key step in Volkswagen's product strategy. The new T-Roc will arrive in Italian dealerships from the weekend of 24 and 25 January 2026, with an even more mature identity: 12 centimetres more length, greater roominess and equipment inherited from higher segment models such as the Tiguan. All of this is accompanied by an all-hybrid engine range, which is already looking ahead to the arrival of the brand new full hybrid later this year.
The T-Roc is a true best-seller: no less than two million examples have been produced for the global market and a tenth of these have been sold in Italy: a true success story, which this year is being renewed by offering even more comfort, solutions and advantages to customers. The interior of the new T-Roc, for example, has been enhanced to create a lounge-style atmosphere through the use of lighting and dashboard fabrics. The technological and driver assistance solutions are up-to-date and inherited from the higher range cars, such as Travel Assist (for lane keeping, overtaking assistance and speed limit reaction) or the Park Assist Pro with memory function for distances up to 50 metres and which allows the smartphone to be used for manoeuvring in and out of parking spaces.
An evolution that reinforces the model's positioning and acts as an ideal bridge to the heart of Volkswagen's fleet offering for the coming months: the new Tiguan range, ready to relaunch the challenge in the medium SUV segment.
The Tiguan offering, perfect for users and fleet managers
The new Tiguan price list has now come into force, built around a clear principle: to offer more content, more technology and significantly better value, with targeted price intervention. How? The main novelties are a reduction of 1,250 euros across the entire range and the alignment of the fleet instalment between the TDI and plug-in eHybrid versions: an attractive choice for both company and user, since it combines the tax advantage of the fringe benefit with the alignment of the total cost between the two motorisations.
Not only that: the range, against the 1,250 euro reduction just mentioned, has been considerably enriched in terms of content. An operation that affects all the equipment, but which aims above all at satisfying those most in demand on the market, Edition Plus and R-Line Plus, which are now even richer.
The details of the new Tiguan range
All five versions - Life, Edition Plus, Elegance, R-Line and R-Line Plus - now benefit from a considerably more complete standard equipment, while some technical solutions with high added value become a distinctive element of the more evolved versions. Progressive steering and DCC, for example, come as standard on the eHybrid and 4MOTION versions, underlining the central role of plug-in and all-wheel-drive engines within the range.
The Edition Plus introduces standard features that raise the bar significantly: heated front seats and steering wheel, Travel Assist with Area View, 230V socket in the boot, Pre Crash system and progressive steering for PHEV and 4MOTION. Including the list price reduction, the customer benefit amounts to around 3,000 euros, making this version one of the most balanced in terms of price, technology and comfort.
Stronger still is the leap forward made by the R-Line Plus, which combines a sporty character with superior technological and safety features. Standard equipment includes a head-up display, Matrix HD LED headlights, IDA voice assistant, 15-inch infotainment, advanced driver assistance systems and direct control of tyre pressure, as well as progressive steering for plug-in versions. Even in this casethe customer benefit is around 3,000 euros, including the price reduction that affects the entire range.
Volkswagen, therefore, is making choices that are anything but obvious in a phase of strong pressure on industrial costs, which confirms the Wolfsburg company's desire to strengthen the competitiveness of the model and consolidate its leadership in 2026, in an increasingly crowded and selective market context.
The Tiguan eHybrid becomes the ideal choice for 2026. And the same technology is also coming to the Golf.
It is on the Tiguan plug-in eHybrid that Volkswagen's strategy shows all its effectiveness, especially in the fleet channel. The model steadily occupies the top positions in the national rankings of the best-selling plug-in hybrids, thanks to a proposal that combines electric autonomy, richer standard equipment than the purely thermal versions and an increasingly solid balance between running costs and tax benefits. Not only sustainability, then, but also economic rationality and simplicity of choice.
Finally, the same eHybrid technology that has made the Tiguan one of the market's benchmark plug-ins is also available on another pillar of the Volkswagen range: the Golf. A timeless icon that continues to evolve, demonstrating how electrification, efficiency and driving pleasure can coexist without compromise, even in the heart of tradition
