The Volkswagen Group closed the first six months of 2025 with 1,519,875 registrations in Europe, compared to 1,486,186 in '24, marking a growth of 2.3% and a market share that went from 26.1% to 27.3%. The numbers are suffering if we look at June alone, where sales fell from 293,678 in June '24 to the current 270,767, down 7.8% and a share from 26.9% to 26.8%. Seat, sharp drop: -21.5%
The Martorell-based brand continues to lose volume and market share, with 99,825 deliveries compared to 127,182 in the first six months of 2025, down 21.5% and market share down from 2.2% to 1.8%. The results were worse in June, with 46,405 cars compared to 51,236 and a drop of 9.4%.
Volkswagen up: +2.8%
Greater sign for the Volkswagen brand in the first half of 2025 with +2.8% thanks to 630,868 deliveries compared to 613,508 in the first six months of '24 and a market share up from 11.3% to 10.8%. Different percentages in June '25 with 110,702 deliveries against 126,223 in June '24.
