Wall Street is awaiting Apple’s financial results and iPhone sales figures
There are issues relating to China and gross margins, which are under pressure from rising costs for certain components
Following Alphabet, Meta and Microsoft, it is now Apple’s turn. The company with the bitten apple logo has published its quarterly results for the third quarter of the 2025–2026 financial year.
According to the consensus (though it is always important to bear in mind that this varies depending on which analysts are taken into account and who the information provider is), the market is forecasting revenue of around 109 billion dollars and earnings per share of approximately 1.89 dollars.
That said, it is important to note that Apple – despite being involved in the race for artificial intelligence (AI) – is not a hyperscaler. In other words, it is not among the group of companies that are making massive investments aimed at building the infrastructure for AI itself.
In this regard, the market is looking at
above all, other factors. These include: the resilience of demand for the iPhone, particularly in China; the trend in gross margins, which are under pressure from rising costs of certain components such as memory; and the ability of digital services to continue to deliver highly profitable growth.
