Houthi attack on Riyadh airport: one dead and 12 injured
Another attack on Riyadh airport the day after the massacre caused by a Houthi missile, which left at least 12 dead and hundreds injured. An ‘unidentified projectile’ struck the Saudi capital’s airport once again, killing one person and injuring at least 11, as well as causing a fire in a terminal. Another missile heading for southern Arabia was intercepted and destroyed. From Italia to Israel, there has been a chorus of condemnation, but the pro-Iranian Yemeni rebels have claimed responsibility for the wave of raids against Saudi airspace and energy facilities. All eyes are on the US response after Trump reopened the possibility of American intervention

The UK is asking its citizens not to travel to Saudi airports
The United Kingdom has expanded its security advice for British nationals in Saudi Arabia, advising against all non-essential travel to the cities of Jeddah and Dammam and to almost all airports in the country, following the recent spate of attacks attributed to the Houthis in Yemen. The decision, announced by the British Foreign Office, follows Saturday’s and yesterday’s attacks on Riyadh International Airport, which left 12 people dead and over 300 injured.

Iran: ‘The Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the Americans accept all our conditions’
Iran will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz until the United States has fully accepted the seven-point plan put forward by Tehran for a peaceful resolution of the conflict, which was conveyed to Washington through Qatari mediation last September. This was stated by the Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Mohsen Rezaei, who pointed out that the US authorities have already accepted some of the conditions but have not provided satisfactory responses to the others.
“The Strait of Hormuz will not be reopened until Iran’s seven conditions have been met,” he said.

Houthi attack on Riyadh airport: 12 dead and hundreds injured
The Houthi offensive against Saudi Arabia shows no sign of abating. Following Saturday’s attack on Riyadh airport, which left 12 people dead and hundreds injured, the Yemeni rebels struck again on Sunday at King Khalid International Airport, fuelling tensions in the Middle East and sparking international condemnation. The United States is, for the time being, keeping a low profile. Donald Trump has described the attack as “unacceptable” and has not ruled out the possibility that Washington might take action alongside Saudi Arabia.
