Watches and Wonders: here are the new releases for the 2027 edition
Following this year’s record-breaking edition, the programme for the event – which will take place from 5 to 11 April – has been unveiled. Among the new brands taking part are Damiani and the three from House of Brands
The line-up for the 2027 edition of Watches and Wonders Geneva, the world’s leading fine watchmaking fair, is beginning to take shape. The announcements made today concern the dates on which the event will take place next year and the addition of new exhibiting brands.
The event will run for seven days, from 5 to 11 April, with the first four days reserved for industry professionals, whilst on the final three days, from Friday 9 to Sunday 11, the doors will also be open to the general public, subject to purchasing a ticket on the official website (watchesandwonders.com) from next February.
They will be welcomed by many of the watch industry’s leading players, joined by Damiani and the three brands that form part of the House of Brands group, founded in 2025: Breitling, Gallet and Universal Genève. “The arrival of such prestigious brands confirms the success of the event and the increasingly important role it plays as a cultural and experiential platform for the sector,” commented Matthieu Humair, CEO of the Watches and Wonders Geneva Foundation, which organises the fair.
In recent years, Damiani had taken part in the Haute Jewels Geneva exhibition, whilst Breitling, since the last edition of Baselworld in April 2019, had not taken part in a trade fair of this kind in Switzerland, featuring a single exhibition space for all brands such as Geneva’s Palexpo, and a packed calendar of fringe events organised in the city – the latter of which have also been confirmed for 2027. It should also be noted that in recent years Breitling had opted for other formats, such as the Geneva Watch Days – an event of which it was one of the founders – which traditionally takes place between late August and early September (the next one is scheduled for 2–6 September), with presentations of new releases taking place across the city at venues chosen by each brand. “This event has become the leading global stage for our sector and, in addition to visibility, it adopts an approach that guarantees each brand the freedom to tell its own story. We will showcase our brands and contribute to the collective strength of the Swiss watch industry,” commented Georges Kern, CEO of House of Brands.
Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 had been a record-breaking edition with 66 participating brands, 60,000 unique visitors (+9% on 2025) and 25,000 tickets sold on days open to the public (+9% on 2025).
