Zes: Meloni, we intend to extend the simplification measures to the whole country

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - The Government is working to extend the simplification measures of the single Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Southern Italia to the rest of Italia. This was stated by the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, in a video message sent to the “La Piazza” event currently taking place in Ceglie Messapica, Puglia. “We now intend to extend” the SEZ’s simplification measures to “the whole of the country”, Meloni declared. “This is an issue we are monitoring very closely because the impact the Single Special Economic Zone is having on growth and employment is plain for all to see, and we want to maximise its benefits,” she added, emphasising that ‘our objective remains the same: to make Italia stronger, more cohesive, more competitive and better able to overcome the challenges of our time’.
